Voices Of Eureka Spring’s Silent City

ES Voices IndexThe Eureka Springs city cemetery is getting ready for the all new, fifth annual Voices from Eureka’s Silent City — living history tours on Friday and Saturday evenings, Oct. 18 and 19, and again on Oct. 25 and 26.

This year the tours feature musically-themed stories about the Original Ozark Folk Festival, as well as other performances and dances which were held at the city auditorium and hotels during the 1930’s and 1940’s.

Guides will introduce those attending to actors in period costumes on tours which begin each evening at 5:30 p.m. and every twenty minutes thereafter until 8:30 p.m. Tickets are available at the Chamber of Commerce, all Cornerstone Bank locations, and the museum at 95 S. Main St. Or, call the museum at 479-253-9417 and visit their website at www.eurekaspringshistoricalmuseum.org for tickets or more information.

There is free parking at the former Victorian Inn lot on Hwy. 62 East, with free shuttle service to the nearby cemetery. (No parking available at the cemetery.)
