First Thursday Puts Clampit On

First Thursday Fayetteville

First Thursday’s art, entertainment and food festivities return at 5 p.m. Thursday, June 2 with live music by legendary performer Jed Clampit around the Fayetteville square.

The Town Center gallery will host art by Danny Broadway of Memphis.
Fayetteville Underground will feature visiting artist Sean Fitzgibbon in the Revolver space, watercolor paintings by William M. Flanagan in the Vault, the “Nature’s Challenge” sunset series by Sharon Killian in the Hive and the art of Hank Kaminsky in the E Street Gallery.

In addition, the Walton Arts Center will host a coinciding drop-in closing reception from 5 to 8 p.m. for the end of the Garden as Muse exhibit. Staged in the Joy Pratt Markham Gallery, the exhibit has been part of the second Artosphere Festival. It was curated by Andrea Packard and features works by Sally Apfelbaum, Markus Baenziger, Syd Carpenter, Lois Dodd and Sarah McEneaney.
