It’s the week of Burning Man, the temporary intentional alternative community on the playas of Nevada.
Friday night begins our time under Virgo, sign of the Madonna gestating a new state of awareness for humanity. Virgo is also Ceres, mother of Persephone descending underground when autumn begins. The mother weeps at the loss of her daughter (spring & summer). Reflecting her grief, the trees and plants drop their leaves. Sun entering…
Our last week of Leo before Sun enters Virgo (next Friday/Saturday). The planets this week make complex patterns and relationships (vibrational cadences and rhythms) with the outer planets, mainly Neptune – the planet that veils, obscures, protects and finally refines us. Neptune offers us entrance into a deeply spiritual sense of comfort and solace.
We continue in the month and Leo, the sign where humanity begins to recognize itself through it creativity and it love.
Leo creative efforts lead to a new identification of self. Leo is about understanding who we are through what we create. Leo streams through the three levels of the Sun – core, heart, rays of the Sun, the force behind the creation of Earth.
Over the years I’ve mentioned the Nine Tests of Mars and Scorpio. The tests are given to everyone – unawakened, beginning to awaken, and the awakened.
Wednesday, after a year in Cancer’s nourishing waters, Jupiter enters fiery Leo. Tuesday (next week), the Sun, joining Jupiter, also enters Leo.
We continue to be under the influence of Cancer (Ray 3, sign of liberty and freedom). Cancer is the Gate through which Spirit enters Matter.
Saturday is Independence Day and the 238th birthday of the United States. The U.S. Sun is 12 degrees Cancer. Sirius, the blue star where Love originates is 13 Cancer. Sirius and the U.S. are aligned.
“Let isolation be the rule, yet the crowd exists.” This is how we feel when we are learning how to be in the world. We are in the world yet feel isolated from everything and everyone.
