Northwest Arkansas Music Awards Nominees Announced

Northwest Arkansas musicians who excelled in 2009 will be honored at the 15th annual Northwest Arkansas Music Awards, or NAMA, a Grammy-style event on April 29 at the Dickson Theater. Voting begins online today at namaawards.com to select the top performers in 21 categories. Nominees were selected based on talent, popularity and performances. The winners will be selected by popular vote. The voting will end on April 19.

Singer/songwriter male: Jason Paul, Jeff Kearney, Justin Brasher, Keith Nicholson, Randall Shreve, Wade Ogle, Zach Ryan.

Singer/songwriter female: Candy Lee, Darlene, Shannon Wurst, Tiffany Christopher.
