School On Saturday

Most schools in this area have five snow days built into their calendar. Most years, that is enough, but with the number of consecutive snow days these last few weeks, students will need to make up those missed days. Fayetteville school district has announced that Saturday, March 5, will be added as a day of attendance. The last day of school will now be Friday, June 10. Students will also attend on March 11, April 1 and April 29, days they were scheduled to have off. The continuous learning schools (Asbell and Happy Hollow) will not have to attend on  March 5 and their last day will be Wednesday, June 15.
