No More Homeless Pets

Spay Arkansas has a goal: No more homeless pets in Northwest Arkansas. To achieve this goal, the nonprofit organization is raising money to purchase a spay-neuter van.

This Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m., the organization will hold a silent auction at Arsaga’s Crossover. For entertainment, four of Northwest Arkansas’ best singersongwriters will perform.

Taking turns at the mic will be Emily Kaitz, Tiffany Christopher, Candy Lee and Susan Shore. This will be a really great musical show and a nice way to wind-down from Thanksgiving.

The auction will feature a wide variety of gift items such as handmade jewelry, a vintage quilt, gift certificates to local businesses and services such as massages and haircuts.

Visit Crystal Bridges

The weather forecast for Thanksgiving and the weekend is perfect for a short hike — sunny and 50 — so why not checkout the construction on the Crystal Bridges Museum and enjoy a beautiful new multi-purpose trail.

The Crystal Bridges Trail, which runs along the west side of the Crystal Bridges property, opened this summer and is part of the Bentonville Trail system. This mile and a half segment is just north of the Bentonville Square. The trail features an observation deck that offers a glimpse of the museum construction and also some outstanding rockwork.

The trail is open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily.
