And The Nominees Are…

Announcing the NAMA XIV nominees

The annual spring event that honors all Northwest Arkansas musicians, the Northwest Arkansas Music Awards, is scheduled for 8 p.m. April 23 at the Dickson Theater. Awards will be given in 22 categories at the Grammy-style event. Masters of ceremonies for the evening will be KUAF’s Kyle Kellams and music historian Robert Cochran. This is the 14th anniversary of the awards.
The nominees are selected by committee based on talent, popularity and the number of performances or accomplishments in 2008.
The winners are selected by popular vote. Voting begins today and will close on April 8. To vote go to the NAMA Web site, www.namaawards.com. Only one vote per person.
