The 12th annual Northwest Arkansas Music Awards (NAMA XII) will be 8 p.m., Thursday, April 12 at the Dickson Theater in Fayetteville. The Grammy style event will feature performances by David’s Pegasus, Early Morning Bourbon Girls, The OneUps, Charliehorse, Darlene, and The 3 Twos. Awards will be given in 16 categories in addition to a Lifetime Achievement Award presentation to Fred Tackett of Little Feat, who will be attending the event and a Hall of Fame award for Best Rock Band to Hunkr Down, who will also be on hand. Special guests will be the Northwest Arkansas Rollergirls. Emcees will be Kyle Kellams and Bob Cochran and Joe Askins will be the Red carpet host. Tickets are $10 at the door. A private reception for nominees will begin at 6:30 p.m. There will be Four Star Limousine service from the Walton Arts Center parking lot. Nominated musicians should pick up passes to the reception between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Free Weekly office, 203 N. College. For more information call 521-4550.
